Highlands for Halloween Photos

With Halloween being on a Saturday this year, we couldn’t help but bring back a photo opportunity we haven’t done since 2024… HALLOWEEN PHOTOS WITH HIGHLAND COWS!

Are the cows scary…. no lol. But they do provide the perfect warm up for a fun family activity before trick or treating!

Photo sessions are 15 minutes each, $40 per session. The cost covers your entire group. Photos will be inside our cattle barn with a Halloween themed set up featuring one of our adorable Highlands, since the sessions are inside, groups are limited in size to no more than 8 people.

This is a bring your own camera event, you may bring your own photographer if you’d like, we will be able to use your phone/camera to take your groups photos if not.

Along with the main photo set with a Highland, we will also have a decorated tractor just outside of the barn to take photos with, some more cows to meet inside the barn, and a complimentary hot cocoa bar!

As with our other events on the farm, there will be a waiver to sign upon arrival, and an extra waiver for any members of your group wearing open toed shoes. For the safety of people and animals alike, pets are not allowed.

Since this is a Halloween photo event, YES you can wear your Halloween costumes, HOWEVER, we will not be able to allow inflatable costumes due to risks of spooking the cows, and if children’s have large props that go along with their costumes, we ask that children either know not to swing the props around, or not have them while around the cattle.

If you need to cancel your appointment for any reason, we can provide a full refund for cancellations made AT LEAST 48 hours in advance. Note: this is different from our standard farm visit cancellation policy, which provides full refunds for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance.

When you arrive at the farm, you will drive all the way up the driveway to where the gray house is, photos will be done inside the barn that has a star at the top and horse silhouettes on the door.
