What We Offer

Meet the Moos

Enjoy a 1 hour session with your group of 1-6 people to meet 4-5 of our friendliest Highland Cows! During the session, you will be able to be up close and personal with the cows, brushing, petting and feeding them. You will be able to ask however many questions you can think of about the cattle, the Highland Breed, and our operation to hopefully leave with a deeper understanding of Highlands Cattle and the world of agriculture!

Coos & Views

This 1.5-2hr session for groups of 1-5 people is our most in depth look at our operation currently! The session begins with our Meet the Moos Experience to meet our friendliest “Moo Crew” up close and personal! Following this will be an ATV ride in our comfortable Polaris around 75 acres of our property in the scenic countryside, enjoying the views of rolling crop fields, our property’s iconic pond, and cows in their most natural state out in the pastures. The session will finish riding the ATV through our large herd with our full grown mama cows (who will be expecting to have calves this Fall).

Large Groups

Have a group larger than 6 people? No problem! We regularly welcome large groups, whether it is a 4-H Club, school field trip, or a corporate team building experience, we would love to welcome your group to the farm! These sessions are run the same as a Meet the Moos Sessions, depending on the number of people, we may also be able to accommodate an ATV ride by splitting groups in half. Pricing for large groups is as follows

  • 1-6 people, standard session, $100 for the hour

  • 7-10 people, $100 covers the first six people, it is an extra $10 for each additional person (10 people = $140)

  • 11 or more, $15 per person (Prices would start at $165)

To book a large group session, please message us through the contact page so we can plan accordingly. We ask that you have a rough estimate of a head count ahead of time so we can plan how many of our cattle experts we will need to assist with the session!

Photo Sessions

For those that want memorable photos with our majestic Highland Cows, we do offer the cows for photo sessions on our property! We charge $100 for these sessions, which includes 1 hour using our fenced in yard with multiple trees and background options for photos, two cows on halters, a large wagon the cows can be tied to, and 1-2 of our cattle handlers to help position the cows wherever they need to go! You may bring any photographer of your choice (we will be busy handling the cattle and will not be able to take your photos for you). And for photographers looking to do mini sessions with the cows, you will get the same access, for the same price. You will need to book your mini sessions through your own preferred means!

To work out a date for a photo session, reach out to us through our contact page! We try our best to be flexible scheduling photo sessions to achieve the best lighting for the best photos!

Book an Appointment

Select your desired session type to see what dates we have available and book your session! But first, here’s a few things to keep in mind for your session…

1) There will be a waiver to sign upon arrival at the farm.

2) Closed toed shoes are a must! Any member of your group wearing open-toed shoes (including crocs) will be required to sign an extra waiver.

3) NO PETS! To ensure safety of your pets, the cattle, and everyone involved, we require that you leave your fluffy friends at home!

4) Allergens around the barn include hay, dust, barn cats, and the occasional bees during the warmer months. If anyone in your group is allergic to any of these things, we recommend they bring any allergy relief/epipens they believe may be necessary!

5)Coos & Views Participants must remain in the cart while it is in motion, and may not leave the ATV while in the cattle pasture.

6) And finally, an appointment is required before meeting the cows! We do not allow pop-ins due to our busy schedules!

Meet the Host

Casey is the granddaughter of Bert & Jim Lindauer, the farms owners! Casey spent 12 years as a 4-Her, and through that time developed a strong love for the agriculture industry, and quickly went on to be a 4-H volunteer after aging out of the program, and was accepted as a Maryland 4-H All Star Member in 2026!

Casey has grown up around the Highlands, and began showing them in 2018. Over the years, Casey has traveled across the East Coast competing with her Highlands and learning from other farms! Following COVID, Casey began homeschooling to spend as much time on the farm as possible, and became the go to for identifying all of the cattle on the farm and keeping track of production records and genetic lines.

Casey began running Holiday photos with the Highlands in 2023 to raise money for 4-H Hogs, which turned out to be a success, eventually leading to a full dive into agritourism!

Casey is a rising Junior with Penn State World Campus, studying for a degree in Agribusiness Management, and is currently interning with University of Maryland Extension to improve agritourism in Queen Anne’s County, assist in running 4-H Fairs, and learn more about Maryland Agriculture and Extension work!
