Meet the Moos
We love to share our cows with the public and educate about the breed! Throughout the year we run private Meet the Moos sessions where your group of 1-6 people can spend an hour meeting some of our cows and learning about the Highland breed and our program!
We also welcome large groups to the farms, and are very willing to work with you for an on farm photography session! Along with our on the farm events, we also take the cows to local events throughout the year, you can see other ways to see the cows under the Upcoming Events page!

Yes kids are allowed at these sessions! For safety of little kids we do have the condition that children under five years old must be held by an adult when around the cattle.

Our Meet the Moos Sessions take place in our covered barn, photography sessions take place in a fenced in yard. For everyones safety, cattle will be haltered and tied during sessions, photography sessions cattle can be untied, but will still be haltered. We will not be in the pasture with the cows loose during sessions, however, we will start offering UTV rides through the pasture and around the farm in 2026, stay tuned for more info on that.

The cost of a 1-Hour session on the farm for photos is $100, the same as a standard Meet the Moos session. You can bring any photographer of your choice, we can not take your photos at these session since we will be handling the cattle. Photo sessions will take place in our fenced in yard with multiple different trees and a wagon that cows can be tied to, we can also provide a couple bales of straw upon request, you and your photographer are welcome to bring other decorations and props with you. We will have two cows for photo sessions, they will be on a halter at all times during the session, we can position them to the best of our ability for photos. We do allow large group sessions, to book these sessions, please send us an email. Pricing is dependent on amount of people and can be found below.
1-6 people, standard session, $100 for the hour
7-10 people, $100 covers the first six people, it is an extra $10 for each additional person (10 people = $140)
11 or more, $15 per person (Prices would start at $165)
When contacting to schedule a large group session, please provide an estimated head count so we can properly plan how many cows and helpers we will need for the session and plan a date accordingly.
