Coos & Views

Looking for an all-inclusive, memorable experience meeting Highland cows both up close AND seeing them out in the pasture living their everyday lives? Well we are happy to offer our “Coos & Views” experience to check those boxes! This experience offers all the amazing up close moments of our Meet the Moos Session, with the added bonus of going on a UTV ride around the farm trails and through our breeding herd pasture!

Coos & Views Sessions include 1 hour in our covered barn meeting a few of our Highlands up close and personal, followed by a ride in our Polaris UTV around the farm to see all of the beautiful scenery around the property as well as a ride through our breeding herd where you will see our cows in their most natural state, and possibly see them up close if they come up to the cart! This is the only way visitors are able to go into the pasture with the cows and we are excited to finally offer this experience to the public!

The cost for a Coos & Views Session is $150 and covers groups of up to 5 people, which the maximum amount of people we can seat in the UTV.

FAQ’s

  • Yes kids are allowed at these sessions! For safety of little kids we do have the condition that children under five years old must be held by an adult when around the cattle. While riding in the cart, children, along with all other participants, must wear seatbelt with the half doors of the cart closed and stay in the cart at all times. Children under five will be seated in the middle seat of each row in the UTV.

  • In order to offer these sessions safely, while in the cart all participants must wear seatbelts with the half doors of the cart closed. You may not step out of the cart while in the pasture with the cattle, however, we will ride close to the cattle, and if they choose to come up to the cart you will be able to pet them from inside the cart!

  • The UTV will be driven only by a farm employee. Not only do the employees know how to safely drive the Polaris, they also know where to safely drive around the farm to see the most sights, and know how to safely drive around the cattle. Having our employees drive also gives all participants more opportunities to take photos and videos, and enjoy the scenery around them.

  • UTV rides can be included in large group sessions of up to 10 people by splitting the group in half and having participants take turns in the barn and on a UTV ride. We can not allow more than five participants in the cart at a time, and for safety we do not allow children to sit on parents lap while the UTV is in motion.

  • Yes! While we do not offer a booking link for only the UTV rides, they would be perfect for photographers looking to get photos of the cattle, or for folks who just want to do a quick stop to the farm! For a session like this, we would only go through the pastures so you can spend more time around the cattle! Once again a session like this would be only available for up to five people, the cost would be $50, and we would spend roughly ½ and hour in the cow pasture! To schedule this kind of session, send us a message!
