We are located in Mills County, The Meat Goat Capitol Of America, off of Hwy 16 between Goldthwaite and Priddy on the side of Priddy mountain.
Running W Farm is a family operation run by Bo, Patricia, and Cheryl Wright.
Bo works full time as the Deputy Chief Appraiser in Mills county.
Patricia retired after 23 years of working as the librarian at Goldthwaite High School.
Cheryl is employed as a Math Teacher with Goldthwaite I.S.D. She is also an ABGA Inspector and Judge.
The Wright family has been involved in agriculture their whole lives. Their farm started with registered Hampshire sheep and moved to registered Angora goats, Miniature horses, and now Boer goats.
In 1997 we started our herd with 2 percentage does and a full blood billy. After we saw the meat and muscle that Boer goats produce, we decided that we had to start raising full blood goats. We slowly bought full blood does from established genetics and built our herd to around 35 full South African nannies. We now have bloodlines from *Ennobled* Starman, *Ennobled* Mojo, *Ennobled* Gorgeous George, Sir, Stallion, and EGGS.

We have successfully raised and shown a variety of animals and we hope that our extensive experience will help us in our endeavor to raise the best Boer goats that we can. Our goal is to breed for overall quality, size and uniform appearance in compliance with AGBA standards. We are constantly striving to produce high quality Boer goats or "THE PERFECT BOER GOAT!!"
